Join the adventurous crew with skipper Chris and Aspiring Yachtmaster G-reg on a 7 days sailing adventure. Starting in Largs, the crew sails south around the mull of Kintyre, anchoring at Sanda Island. With storm Babet approaching and gale force winds forecasted, saga47swan takes shelter in Portpatrick. Portpatrick is a very challenging entry and careful pilotage is needed as the harbour has a very narrow entrance with rocks and shallow water. Aspiring Yachtmaster G-reg heart beat with up doing this pilotage ! After Portpatrick, the crew sets off at 3 am with a narrow weather window between gales to reach Whitehaven before the tidal gate closes the lock.
