The Boat Upgrade Nobody Will Ever See | S6 E07

Every boat has a list. The little jobs you work around, nurse along, and promise you’ll fix one day. After crossing the Atlantic, ours has grown long, so we sail from Tobago to Grenada, the Spice Isle, ready to finally tackle it. If we can get there first. Anchored in Prickly Bay on Grenada’s South coast, the jobs begin. The mainsail comes off for repairs, the rig gets checked in a very rolly anchorage, and we sneak away for a swim at Concord Falls. But one job has been hanging over us for years: replacing the original aluminium holding tanks on our Leopard 46 catamaran. It’s not glamorous, and nobody will ever see it, but it might be the best upgrade we’ve made. What’s the one boat (or house!) job you keep putting off? We’d love to hear in the comments.
