Ways to be found. Water, food, something warm… and apparently a toothbrush, because priorities. PLB, EPIRB, radios, tracker… basically all the “please come find me” devices. And then the random things that somehow make sense in this context. A bucket. A leatherman. High calorie snacks like I’m about to run a marathon. Putting this together is a bit surreal. Because you’re preparing for a situation you really don’t want to be in… but also making sure that if it happens, you’re not completely useless. Out here, you don’t rely on luck.
