► The First Sailing Yacht from a Powercat Specialist ► Aquila Boats, a leading name in the world of powercats, is making a striking entry into the sailing arena. After announcing its arrival on the sailing catamaran market, the shipyard is now unveiling its very first model, presented here at the 2026 Miami Boat Show: the 50 Sail. ► At first glance, there is no doubt, this is unmistakably an Aquila. The brand’s signature bar, seamlessly connecting the aft cockpit to the saloon, is immediately recognizable and remains a true hallmark of the builder. Beyond the rounded lines and elongated hull windows, Aquila also carries over an innovative concept from its powercat range: direct access to the flybridge from the foredeck. Perfectly integrated steps, extended by an elegant handrail, ensure a smooth and natural connection between these two living spaces. ► Several features clearly reflect the brand’s powerboat DNA: a crane system for the tender, an XXL owner’s cabin, particularly luxurious bathrooms, and independent access for each cabin. The interior design - especially the choice of materials, including refined curtains, leather finishes, and carpeting in the saloon - adds an extra touch of sophistication. ► The real surprise, however, lies in the boat’s sailing credentials. Aquila offers a genuine interior chart table - featured across the entire sailing range - along with a particularly impressive helm station installed on the flybridge. A central steering wheel, surrounded by winches with control lines led to either side, provides carefully designed ergonomics and outstanding visibility over the water.
