► Although the TH33 was unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival back in September, sea trials weren’t available to be undertaken until this spring in Jupiter, Florida, and then in Cannes, which is where we headed to check out how Jeanneau’s smallest powercat performed at sea. ► Here’s our quick take on it before we share the full test report with you: powered by a pair of 300-HP Mercury V8s, the small catamaran is capable of exceeding 30 knots and it handles choppy seas very well. Tight turns are accompanied by a slight heel that may surprise those accustomed to monohull craft. Handling is made easier by the joystick, which eliminates the need for a bow thruster. ► While the TH33 presents itself as a high-end day cruiser with comfortable seating and a fully equipped dashboard, it also features a heads compartment and even a cabin (albeit a small one).
