SV Triteia Finally Splashes after being on the hard & Camille gives an offering of Rum to Poseidon

SEASON 6 / The Haul Out : Episode #132 : THE SPLASH! and an offering to Poseidon Hello Friends! I thought the day would never come! After 5 weeks on the water (I thought we would be out for 5 days) and an inconceivable amount of work we finally splashed Triteia with only moments to spare before the boat yard shut down for Christmas Holiday! It was a VERY stressful moment for me when she was back floating again, hoping I had done everything correctly, many of the jobs, like installing thru-hulls and patching large holes, I had never done before so I was TERRIFIED to say the least. Turns out I did everything the right way and she was happily watertight. After we were floating and all the seacocks were checked and triple checked Camille made an offering to Poseidon with a bottom of Rum given to us by our friends Shane and Brook the day we were hauled out.
