The first part of our sailing adventure to the Isles of Scilly. Sailing from Chichester Harbour to Swanage Bay through the Solent. We started last year's beautiful sailing season in the Chichester Harbour in early April. The first day we met the beautiful famous sailboat Jolie Brise - She is a gaff-rigged pilot cutter built and launched by the Albert Paumelle Yard in Le Havre in 1913. We spent one night in Osborne Bay and continued through the Solent to the west. We spent the next night at the most popular anchorage on the Solent - Newtown Creek. We continued west around Hurst Castle via the North Channel and headed to the Swanage Bay. Along the way, we were visited twice by amazing dolphins, they always lift our spirits. Behind Hurst Castle we had a very light wind, which suddenly turned into a stronger, gusty northwest wind in the squall. In Swanage Bay this episode ends, but we will continue to the west in the next episodes. Stay tuned. Please like and Subscribe - we appreciate it very much.
