Owner's Remarks: When I purchased Gemini Dream in 2007, I had my sights set on cruising the western Caribbean. I needed a safe and comfortable boat that would take care of me and my guests in whatever weather and seas came our way. The boat is very livable with a roomy aft berth with inner-spring mattress and head with separate stand-up shower. Two hanging lockers, six drawers and ample shelving in the aft cabin accommodate all your needs. With 350 gallons of fresh water located low and mid-ship, you can easily carry a full tank and enjoy fresh water showers and wash downs after a swim. 175 gallons of diesel will allow for serious passage making and will allow you to run the generator without worry. If the drifter won't let you maintain a decent speed, the Perkins 4.154 can motorsail at 1300 RPM while sipping only about 0.4 GPH! 175 gallons of diesel can go a LONG way! Another couple can enjoy the very large, private forward v-berth with private access to the adjoining head/shower. Two hanging lockers, drawers and shelving make the forward v-berth comfortable as well. The main salon has ample storage with cabinets, drawers and even a "ships hold" under the sole which can accommodate spares, sail, provisions, etc., all while keeping them low and out of the way. There is a dry storage pantry located under the companionway steps with ample space for a long passage. Gemini Dream is a very "dry" boat... the decks tend to stay dry in almost all weather. The cockpit is very comfortable and with the bimini, dodger and enclosure... you are protected from the sun, wind or rain. Gemini Dream took me to Mexico, Belize, Guatemala and Honduras in safety and comfort! She spent two years docked in her homebase of the Rio Dulce area of Guatemala and enjoyed a fresh water home!
