SI #801 — This weekend's Sail GP in Auckland will debut new high-speed T-Foils

SAILING ILLUSTRATED #801 (Fri 17 Jan 2025) — The big story of this weekend's Sail GP Auckland is the introduction of the new high-speed T-Foils. Made of titanium and quite a bit thinner than the previous L-Foils, there's a huge change to the way the teams are sailing the boats. The new foils should also give the teams more control and make the boats faster overall, particularly at higher speeds.
