SDA249 The Situation is Fluid

By the time we left Great Inagua, the water coming aboard was about to become the least of our fluid problems. We leave Great Inagua for the 20 hour hop to Crooked Acklins, but not before removing our failed Starlink system and properly installing our new to us Starlink Mini. Wind and waves at Great Inagua send water over the stern and into the cockpit, and once we're underway, the ongoing oil issue with our port engine creates another problem when we start running short on diesel. We eventually make it into Jamaica Bay, where better weather and an anchor dive confirm we're well hooked, giving us a chance to settle in and relax for a couple of days.
