After being stuck in a marina for longer than we wanted, we finally got Indioko officially measured and registered to transit the Panama Canal. We had to visit the dodgy end of town to pay our fees and then negotiated with the scheduler to fix a date when we could pass through to the Pacific side. With a week to spare, we decided to sail down to Rio Chagres where we would need to battle our way through the big swell and narrow gap between the reefs to reach a wild jungle to call home for a while.
