Sailing to Nusa Lembongan on my friend's catamaran, a #lagooncatamaran This mini adventure takes us from #bali and over to the neighbouring islands, which consist of 3 islands, #nusapenida, Nusa Ceningan, and Nusa #lembongan south east of Bali, Indonesia. When my Australian friend Sam invited me for a short holiday, I was not dificult to ask, and jumped on board his beautiful Lagoon 440. Knowing how much money people spend on holiday here to have this kind of adventure, and even being only the two of us, makes you feel privileged. Sailing in Indonesia and especially from Lombook to Bali can be pretty challenging for several reasons. Outside the monsoon season, there is barely any wind, but strong ocean currents. During the monsoon season, you can experience extreme winds and lots of rain. And many sailors visiting these waters find themselves in big trouble.
