Sailing Through New York City | Manhattan, East River & Hell Gate

Ella and I set sail from Chelsea Piers Marina in the heart of Manhattan, heading up the East River toward Long Island Sound. This short 20-mile passage took us beneath New York City’s iconic bridges, past the Manhattan skyline, and through the legendary Hell Gate - where the East River currents and tides converge. Careful timing was essential, but with the current calculated just right, Mirage carried us through without a problem.
