We are taking on a huge sailing challenge in the South Pacific - 1500 nautical miles upwind from Tahiti to reach the super remote islands of the Gambiers. Fewer people visit this place each year than fly into space so it’s not for the faint hearted. And we’ve certainly faced our fair share of challenges, with seasickness, a broken autopilot and ripped sails. But we are determined to push on and beat into the unpredictable winds as we head south towards the most southern part of French Polynesia. It has not been an easy journey, but we’re crossing our fingers that the rewards will be worth it.
