Sailing NZ Whangarei to Opua Exploring the Bay of Islands, Celebrating Birthdays and Rescuing Bees. In this episode we head North for some bay hopping in the Bay of Islands . Jo's parents, (AKA The Oaks or The Hegs) join us . There isn't much wind, but it is perfect weather to train up Carol and Dennis as crew! Dennis celebrates his 75th birthday and a simple game or two of 'Mexican train ' dominos becomes a hard fought nightly challenge to see who would be crowned as the Captain of the train! We eventually end up back at the Bay of Islands marina and bid a fond farewell to Carol and Dennis. We then complete our final preparations for our trip to Tonga.
