Sailing New Zealand - Whitianga Exploring the Coromandel -Easter Escapades Wonderful Whitianga. Having scored a free mooring ball we take full advantage by re-provisioning, fuelling up and taking in the weekend markets. We are thwarted in our quest for beer on Good Friday thanks to New Zealand's licensing laws, but fortunately we have a few cold ones in the onboard fridge. We love our life , both on and under the oceans. We're both super keen on protecting our precious environment ,so amongst other things, we both follow a plant based diet. No fishing rods for us .
