Sailing disaster preparation - Ep 40
A huge thank you to those who help keep our boat afloat by supporting our creative process via Patreon. For that very reason sailors carry a lot of expensive safety equipment, which they hope never to use. As the time for our departure back to Fiji grows near, we knew it was time to upgrade some of that equipment. It was also time to have the boys learn what to expect if things turn nasty and we are forced to abandon ship. So, Rob, Declan and Ivan signed up for a Seawise safety course. It was time and money well spent. We also saw our life raft checked and were able to examine first-hand the provisions that get packed inside. Once back at the boat we packed further emergency rations into our grab bag.
