SAILBOAT 14 KNOTS in HAWAII! WOODEN BOAT is FAST

In this Video we sailing with owner Skip Armstrong, aboard his 1947, John G. Alden Yawl, off Waikiki. The conditions were fast and wild. The classic Yacht Criterion had no trouble making 12-14 knots ground speed, with near gale force winds, and messy surface conditions. We were moving so fast on this day that we ended up doing a few laps out to the Diamond Head Buoy and back before returning to port for dinner time.
