Well this is it!! Layla is OFFICIALLY SOLD!! And this is her VERY LAST EPISODE!! Yeah, we know...take a moment. Well, the survey went great, the sea trial was a hit and the deal has officially been finalized. Layla is no longer our boat. Okay...hold on...now I need a minute.... Okay...I'm okay. But man has it been an awesome ride, well...SAIL. Both figuratively and literally. If you've been with us a while, then you know that upon first buying Layla in New Jersey, with Rivers only being 6 months old, we showed up, made a few improvements in ONE DAY, and took off down the coast to Charleston. She was an amazing sailboat from the very start and she taught us so much about offshore sailing, passagemaking, and of course living on a sailboat. We will never forgot all the joy she brought us.
