S1 E32 Sanding the topsides and grinding the hull (Dominican Republic)

It was a toasty whirlwind, especially amidst all that boat dust in Dominican weather. I hauled the boat out on September 1st, 2023. Within that first week I started sanding the topsides. I waited until September 22 when I decided to start grinding the hull myself. I had it finished on September 29th, rinsed the boat down on the 30th and flew to the USA on Oct 1st. If you know even a little bit about bottom jobs, you’ll know this is just the beginning of a big project. I still need to finish prepping the hull and letting the blisters dry out, and then I’ll be starting on hull repairs.
