It is a fast and bumpy ride as Florence crashes her way through the waves on the way south from Seychelles. This ocean passage is notorious for its rough weather and potentially boat breaking conditions near to Madagascar. It is with no small amount of trepidation that we set out to sail this first leg of our 2000 mile offshore ocean passage to South Africa via the Mozambique channel. We have been sailing around the world for over 5 years after setting off from England in 2016 on board our 37ft sail boat Florence.
