We say goodbye to Guadeloupe and set sail for Dominica, but it definitely isn't the smooth Caribbean sail we were hoping for! The day starts with a bad feeling in my gut before we head out into a rough, lumpy sea for the crossing to Dominica. 🌧️⛵ It isn't our most comfortable passage, but eventually the dramatic green mountains of the Nature Island appear ahead. Checking into Dominica turns out to be surprisingly easy, and we're finally free to start exploring but the rain won't stop! Our first adventure takes us to a beautiful beach where we discover a shipwreck along the shore. Then we decide to try something different and jump aboard the local bus to explore farther… except things don't exactly go according to plan. 😂 That's cruising life — rough sails, unexpected discoveries and plans that seem to change by the hour!
