What a fantastic day this was, been a long time coming and finally done. Looking forward to moving onto the sides now. I think the overlap/sika area was a bit small with the VHBT but there is still plenty on and with the second coat around the edge i am happy it will last for a long long time.. I pretty much copied the method that Ricky and Simone used on Sailing Lady Africa, the video is linked in at around 12.05. The products used were all Sika: Activator - 205 Fibreglass primer - 206 G+P Acrylic primer - 209 sealant - 295 UV I would link from Sika website but a lot cheaper available if you take your time shopping around and on ebay etc. As good as everything is rated and the limited sun in the UK i will make the mesh window covers to extend even longer.
