Removing our DOOMED keel — Sailing Yabá #9

We are Ben and MP! Recently we decided to purchase a two masted huge wooden schooner in Brazil. The fun detail about our story is that the boat we bought was sinking and relying on many bilge pumps to survive so we had to lift it onto the dry to start a full refit. In this episode we show the state of our keel to show why we decided to replace it (we didn't really have a choice). And to replace a keel, well, it is a lot of work!
