“Pour Yourself a Glass of Wine…” 7 to 33 Knots E394

One last adventure at Grande Anse, one of the most beautiful beaches we’ve found in Guadeloupe before making the short hop to Deshaies. There we enjoy some delicious local treats and cool off with a swim in the river. Then it’s time to keep sailing south along the coast of Guadeloupe. The conditions are SO mellow that Cory actually says, “Pour yourself a nice glass of wine—it’s so mellow!” 🍷⛵ Well… that aged quickly. 😂 The wind goes from just 7 knots to 33 KNOTS, the boat is heeling hard, and our relaxing little sail suddenly gets a whole lot more exciting! Eventually we make it to Malendure, where we drop anchor in front of a beautiful volcanic black-sand beach. Another day where cruising goes from paradise to chaos in a matter of minutes! 👍 Enjoy the video?
