PNG - Glimpses of Urkuk village in the Duke of York Islands

This small village in the north part of Duke of York island attract visitors by 2 small Japanese tanks sunk in just 8m of water during WWII right in front of the nearby cliffs. Jack, one of the locals show us around and Luc offered to fix electrical things to the villagers … was able to give elementary electrical instructions on how to test and replace batteries in cheap Chinese solar lights. Filmed in March 2025.
