On passage for over 1,200nm from the Philippines, our second landing in Papua New Guinea was in the Hermit islands. What a pleasure to meet more friendly people on Maron Island and to walk around the remote inhabited Pemei island. Watch how locals extract the heart of palm, great in salads.
