Patience and Respect in Restoring a Boat

It’s such a nice feeling — when you know what to do and when you know how to do it. Even if what’s ahead is long and unpleasant work, when you know the steps, you feel grounded, calm, and focused. The main thing is just to fall into rhythm. Now I have something to compare it with. There’s nothing worse than facing difficult work without having a clue how to do it — when no matter what you try, nothing works. The past couple of days were nothing but queues, paperwork, and trips to the neighbouring country. But I finally freed myself, and in the coming weeks, nothing like that is planned apart from working on my boat and filming for YouTube. So I’m diving headfirst into the task that’s still waiting for me. So that’s what I’m up to these days — still working on removing that nasty glue.
