We’re setting off for a 4000+ mile ocean passage from Costa Rica to Hawaii! Unfortunately, the passage doesn’t start off as smoothly as we’d like, first we have issues with our charting computer, then there’s the weather. The wind goes from one extreme to the next, from glassy calm seas with zero wind to gale conditions and steep seas in the space of a few miles!
