Our FIRST Bahama Beach Experience Ep. 27

After getting stuck in an awful storm out at sea, we anchored at Bonds Cay located in the Berry Islands of The Bahamas to rest before moving on to our next destination. We soon said goodbye to Bonds Cay and motored west a short distance and anchored in a great spot South of Sandy Cay and East of the Cormorant islands. Due to the shallowness of the water in this area we weren't able to get very close to the islands on our sailboat and had to motor the rest of the way in our dinghy to be able to explore the Cormorant islands. After motoring for about a mile in the dinghy the water became too shallow, even for the dinghy! (but at high tide this wouldn't be a problem) We had a BLAST relaxing on the beach, flying the drone and exploring the very small, but fun Cormorant Islands! We even had both islands all to ourselves! This is a perfect location to visit for anyone who would like to maybe have a beach all to themselves and not worry about other people being around or for those with children who like to play in clean shallow water with no need of worrying about crashing waves or currents of water.
