Our first stop after crossing the Bay of Biscay turns out to be one of the most amazing places in Spain. After some fun picking up trash and putting around in the dinghy, we explore the old town and historic castle. Then some friends join us and we head off to Porto in a thick fog. If you’re ever in the area, do not miss Baiona Spain! It is a cool seaside village with interesting medieval history. Founded in 140 BC, the old town offers abundant entertainment. Sitting in the small bay is a replica of the Pinta ship that was first of Columbus’s fleet to return with news of a newly discovered America. The castle offers sweeping views of distant islands and sandy beaches. Baiona is also on the Portuguese Way path of the Camino de Santiago! Episode 03 Season Alpha
