It's turtle nesting season here in Australia, and we're so lucky to witness some of Mother Nature's most magical moments! Red lights are used around sea turtles to help protect them. Sea turtles, especially hatchlings, rely on natural light like the moon reflecting on the ocean to guide them to the sea. Bright white lights can confuse and disorient them, but red lights are gentle on their vision.
