Our grueling passage from New Zealand tested every limit we had - constant pounding waves, relentless wind, and exhaustion that seemed to seep into our bones. But just when we think we can finally relax and enjoy this paradise, Warren discovers something that makes our hearts sink - significant damage to our standing rigging. The very system that holds our mast up has been compromised by the relentless beating we took during those seven brutal days. Suddenly, our sanctuary becomes a workshop. While we're grateful for the protection of Minerva's lagoon and these precious days of calm to assess and repair, we now face a new challenge: how do you temporarily fix critical rigging damage in the middle of nowhere? With Fiji still 300 miles away, we need to come up with creative solutions to limp our way to proper repairs.
