MASTER THE ADVENTURE - Owner's week - Getting ready for bluewater cruising
From April 7 to 12, 2025, in Lorient, Allures Yachting brought together an international community of owners for the very first edition of the Owners’ Week – Master The Adventure. This exclusive and immersive seminar was dedicated to offshore cruising training and knowledge sharing among owners. 🧭 A Full Week to Boost Offshore Autonomy Over six days, participants enhanced their practical skills through hands-on workshops led by experts from Grand Large Yachting’s professional training school — Escale Formation Technique (EFT): • Marine diesel engine mechanics • Onboard electrical systems • Safety at sea & survival skills • Offshore weather routing (with guest speaker Christian Dumard) • Watermaker operation & maintenance British sailor Pete Goss, an offshore sailing legend, joined the group — reconnecting with some of the owners he had already met at the Owners’ Seminar just six months earlier.
