Making Companionway Stairs Out of Cherry Wood (MJ Sailing - EP 4)

As part of our remodel, we're making a new set of steps for the companionway, and just like the rest of our trim and cabinets, they'll be made from a combination of cherry hardwood and plywood. Plus...these new steps will house a secret compartment! While Matt is doing the woodwork outside, Jessica is busy at work in the boat finishing up the cushions for the forward salon. As a first attempt at making cushions, and using Brisa fabric, they came out looking extremely well, and now we finally have a comfortable place to sit in the boat. :) Thank you for watching, cheers from the workyard!
