Major Mirror Dinghy Repair - Part 1

I found this video hard to watch, and for all you wooden boat owners watching i'm sure this will be equally hard seeing a lovely little boat having open heart surgery!! Mochyn Du suffered a big blow over the winter. As the big strom came in, wind got under her and literally tore her from her anchor point in my wall. She then fell squre onto my railway sleeper wall leaving a huge amount of damage in her bow. At this point we still don;t know if she's repairable, but we're going to try. In this video we assess the damage and get all the damaged wood cut out. We then sand inside her to prep her for new wood panels.
