Life on a sailboat! - If someone was to ask us what’s typical about life on a sailboat we’d have to say - nothing! As we left the Corinth Canal and set sail into the Aegean towards an overnight anchorage we’d identified we had no idea what was in store for us over the next couple of days and nights! We passed wild fires caused by the extreme heat looking for a suitable place to anchor overnight bit with no luck we decide last minute to continue and sail overnight. As we settled into our night watch routine the failure of a crucial part led to emergency running repairs - all whilst being stalked by a submarine! We finally anchored the following morning in Kythnos, thankfully strategically, and thereby avoided a boat collision.
