Sejlbåde
The Kathri Suma family of Gujarat is the only family using this technique of cloth decoration. It is unique to this one village. Castor oil plant is boiled for two days to a sticky goo. It is then mixed with different pigments to create the colours. The designs are all applied by free hand. They have won two national awards and two state awards for their work.
