⛵ Isle of Dogs Sea Cadets Adventure to the Solent | Sailing, Seamanship & Boat Handling Join the Isle of Dogs Sea Cadets as we travel to the Solent for an exciting day on the water. Although strong winds meant our original sailing plans had to be adapted, the cadets made the most of every opportunity to develop their skills and gain valuable boating experience. The day included practical seamanship, navigation discussions, RIB handling exercises, and a trip across the Solent to the Isle of Wight to assess the sea conditions firsthand. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about decision-making, safety, and operating on the water when conditions are challenging.
