Indonesia - Medana Bay Marina & Hotel on Lombok

During a 5-week discovery tour of Indonesia in May/June 2014, we had a chance to visit Medana Bay Marina and Hotel, on Lombok Island, just east of the Island of Bali. Being sailboat owners, we wanted to check out the marina for a future visit by yacht. Marina owner, Mrs Ace (ah-chey) Robin was very gracious, and accomodating. This film clip gives a brief feeling for the peacefulness of the marina, hotel and grounds. The manager, Mr Sas was so hospitable, and suggested a delicious (for the eyes as well as the palate) lunch for us. The marina is such a contrast to bustling, frantic Bali, and was a pleasant change. It's a nice place to bring a sailboat to berth at the dock or feel the breeze out on a mooring. The nice thing is that the tourist bustle is only a fast ferry boat ride to Bali away. Thanks to Mrs Ace, Mr Sas and all the friendly staff.
