Indonesia - Glimpses of Tobelo scuba diving

Scuba Diving in the waters around Tobelo on N. Halmahera region of Halmahera Island in Indonesia is spectacularly beautiful with great visibility, dramatic walls, and incredibly colorful and diverse marine life. Do 5 dives with us in this clip: a sea mount, a beach dive in front of the Govt. Tourism dive center at Kakara island, 2 dramatic walls, and the unique dive at the UW volcano where you can see and feel warm water gushing out of the mini-"calderas" and see how the sea life has adapted and thrives here. For the moment, diving is arranged for certified divers through the govt. tourism office, but a private dive center, Karianga, with a Certified Instructor is in the development stage at this time, by owner, Jono Gaza, who is working in cooperation with the tourism office.
