In Search of Paradise....Bumbling Along Without a Depth Sounder 🤣 (Calico Skies Sailing, Ep 112)

In this episode we are once again off to explore the amazing Bocas Del Toro Archipelago. We make our way towards Zapatilla Cay, an area known for its remote tropical island feel as well as jungle hikes. Chart data in Panama isn't always detailed and we struggle without a functioning depth sounder. We run through a narrow pass between cays using Navionics Sonar Charts. The Zapatilla Cays do not disappoint, we are greeted by a pod of dolphins as we set the hook. Temperatures are on the rise so we waste no time jumping in the water for a dive. There is an abundance of life and color under the surface. After diving we meet our friends on the beach for sundowners.
