Join me aboard Mirage for a beautiful overnight sail along the Florida coast, from Fort Pierce to Ponce de Leon Inlet. Under the light of the full moon, I finally got a chance to set up the spinnaker pole and enjoy a smooth downwind passage. With boat speeds around 7–7.5 knots, calm coastal waters, and a midnight turn around Cape Canaveral, this was a short but memorable offshore sail. There is something magical about sailing at night - the moonlight on the water, the steady motion of the boat, and the quiet beauty of the Florida coastline.
