In Search of Giant Black Sea Bass, Catalina Island 2019

We set out on our adventure In search of giant black sea bass on a beautiful fall day. Catalina Island was our destination where rumors among divers will point you to these elusive creatures. Black sea bass are the largest bony fish in California reef communities. Almost fished to extinction but making a comeback they are always a treat to swim with.
