We're based in Malaysia & really want to sail but it's too soon for us (newbies) to jump into buying a boat so we've decided to assist in a refit of an abandoned sailboat. Our goal is to learn what we can to help us make the right purchase when we're ready. This sailboat was left for 4 years and is now being restored to her former glory by its owner. We will tag along for the entire project start to completion. She requires new running rigging, a new engine, new interior furniture, new navigation and auto helm equipment - the list is endless.
