In this video I talk about something I call “goal cruising” — the period where you’ve achieved financial independence, but the next destination isn’t obvious. I share what I’ve learned about goals, motivation, the realities of financial independence, and how your relationship with work changes once you no longer need a job. I also talk about something people don’t often discuss: how surprisingly difficult it was both to decide to retire and then to actually follow through and do it.
