How Dangerous Is It To Cross An Oregon River Bar? - Ep. 158 RAN Sailing

We continue our sail south along the west coast of the US. Our destination is Coos Bay in southern Oregon which has a river bar we have to cross. This coast is infamous for dangerous river bars so let’s see how it goes! We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we moved aboard our sailboat Ran, a custom built Beason 40 in aluminium and untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter in January 2016.
