Horizon Yacht Charters at the Annapolis Boat Show 2026

⛵ Sailing School Spotlight: Horizon Sailing School (@horizonyachtcharters) Meet the team from Horizon Sailing School! We caught up with them at the Annapolis Sailboat Show to learn about their sailing courses, charter experiences, and opportunities to explore the British Virgin Islands (BVI). 🌊 What makes Horizon Sailing School special? Founded in 1998, Horizon was built on a shared love of sailing. From complete beginners to experienced sailors, they offer ASA certifications, private instruction, and yacht charters designed to help everyone discover the joy of sailing. ⛵ What’s one thing people might not expect about training with you? You can go from beginner to bareboat-ready while enjoying a Caribbean vacation! Their “Zero to Hero” program covers ASA 101 through 114, with five nights aboard a monohull and five nights aboard a catamaran. They also offer private courses and shared “Buy the Cabin” experiences, perfect for solo travelers, couples, and families. 📍 What makes the BVI a great place to learn? Students spend their days combining hands-on instruction with exploring the beautiful British Virgin Islands. Horizon’s goal is to build the skills and confidence needed to return and captain a charter independently, with refresher services available for returning sailors. 🎟️ Any boat show specials this week? Yes! Horizon is offering 20% OFF vessel fees, a FREE sleep-aboard the night before your charter, and complimentary paddleboard and kayak use! ⛵ American Sailing Special: Enjoy all boat show benefits PLUS one FREE day of instructor fees ($325 value)! ⚓ How can someone get started?
