Heading South - Block Island Repairs, Already!? [Ep3]

After our magical first few days in Cape Cod it was time for us to start heading south toward New York and ultimately the Chesapeake Bay. We had a great sail to Block Island but when we went to reef before a squall the Main Sail wouldn't come down because we broke the outer cordage of our main Halyard! NOT GOOD! Eventually we were able to get the sail down, but that meant Seth had to go up the mast in Block Island and replace the line with a new one. Such is cruising.
