HAPPY IT HAPPENED HERE! - SwT 135 - LAST MINUTE CHALLENGE BEFORE THE PANAMÁ CANAL

Just as a cliche it’s always something we found out at the last minute our outboard has some serious problems. Outboard problem might not sound very bad at first glance but remember our dinghy is our car, and BE FREE is our house. When transiting the canal and entering the Pacific Ocean we really need our beloved Yamaha to work. We need to do shopping and lots of things before setting sail towards Polynesia. So staying at anchor at the Pacific side requires a functional dinghy and outboard. In a way it’s better to face this now instead of later at an remote atoll in the Pacific. Only the timing was a bit challenging only hours away from our scheduled canal transit. So another challenge was the last thing needed right now.
